CBS "60 Minutes" Prosecuting Wall Street 12-5-11

Watching the CBS 60 Minutes show "Prosecuting Wall Street" by Steve Kroft should have been called "Not Prosecuting Wall Street." Citigroup, Countrywide, Bank of America and all the other crooks were simply let off the hook after raping the American public or the 99% during the financial crisis three years ago. The 1% are doing just fine because their corruption is being ignored by those who have a responsibility to to prosecute them. Without flinching, senior Feds said they just could not do anything because they needed more information. How much information does it take to do the right thing?
Exactly where is the United States Department of Justice in all of this? Not one case has been prosecuted of Wall Street executives for making false statements or being part of the crippling economic crisis. The perpetrators have all the money to buy their way out. It's election time and money is flowing all over the country - but not into the hands of the people who need it. Be sure to watch this show and observe how whistleblowers, who do a service to Americans, are fired for speaking out against corruption.
The two whistleblowers, Eileen Foster, a former senior executive at Countrywide Financial, and Richard Bowen, a former vice president at Citigroup, should be given awards for being willing to come forward and enduring the fallout.
OccupyWashingtonDC

"Occupy DC isn't hurting anybody and isn't doing anything wrong, except for the people they hurt and the things they do wrong," NBC Washington reports, referring to the recent wooden structure built by the OccupyWashingtonDC protesters and their removal by the police. TheDC Morning Jeff Treacher asked, "Why not just build a jail and save the cops the trip?" Further, DC Examiner's Aubrey Whelan reported that, 'The remaining protester on the roof is urinating on the structure.' As is customary."
First, are the Occupy protesters the ones who hurt the millions of Americans who lost their jobs or their homes, who are living in poverty or homeless shelters, who lost their life savings or businesses? Nah - that was done by the crooks they are protesting against. Reports are that the Occupy movement is dwindling and being moved out of their strongholds in major cities. That means that the Good Ole' Boys and crooks are winning against Americans as usual.
Second, why would we need to build a jail for Occupy protesters when we let Wall Street crooks stay out of jail? As reported by Steve Kroft on the CBS 60 Minutes show, we don't even prosecute the guilty parties, so they don't have to even worry about going to jail?
Third, what is customary? The cheating, stealing, dishonesty, thievery, corruption and greed that goes on everyday in the United States sanctioned by the 1% and our political system or one Occupy protester on a roof making a statement?
